How We Support Students

“We educate the whole child, not just the intellect, but the moral and spiritual nature as well.” – Charlotte Mason

We support the whole child by integrating academics, hands-on learning, and evidence-based therapeutic services. Our approach nurtures intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth, helping each student develop knowledge, confidence, and independence while cultivating character and a love of learning.

Academics

Learning Through Relationship

Rooted in the Charlotte Mason philosophy, academics and therapy are thoughtfully woven together to support students as whole persons. Learning is built on relationship, respect for the child, and careful attention to individual needs.

Students engage with rich literature and hands-on experiences that strengthen attention, confidence, and understanding. Lessons are short, varied, and intentionally designed to support both academic growth and therapeutic goals.

A broad range of subjects invites curiosity while developing communication, social, and life skills alongside academic learning.

Beyond academics

Care That Supports the Whole Child

Therapeutic support is woven throughout the school day, strengthening learning while supporting each child’s social, emotional, and physical development. Services include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.

All therapy is provided by Heritage Therapy and delivered in close collaboration with educators, allowing skills to be practiced naturally within classroom routines, transitions, and peer relationships.

This integrated approach supports growth in communication, regulation, movement, and independence, helping students build skills that extend beyond the classroom and into daily life.
